Homework Week 5

Hi Everyone...
This week marks halfway through this term...WOW...

SWIMMING SPORTS - MONDAY
Thanks to the 11 or parents who have offered to help with the fundraising for tomorrow - I hope that more come on board and start to help soon, or we will review if we do any fundraising as currently only about 30% of our parents have done anything to help out.

Please note, only 22/37 students completed their homework last week, which I found disappointing, so we have implemented a new system of reward/consequence.

For those students who dont do their homework, they go on a tracking sheet, together with their behaviour. 10 times appearing on that tracking sheet means that this term they will miss out on an end of term reward. NEXT term though, would mean that they would miss out on Ski Camp.
Why you may ask? Homework is not just a learning tool, but a study skills tool, that students need to be equipped with before College.

Remember that this is the last week of the current cycle of reading groups, so you may be required by your teacher to hand in your completed work.

Here are this weeks Quiz Questions...

Hi Everyone...
A reminder that although we aren't going away for camp this week, on Wednesday and Thursday we will do a 'Leadership Retreat' here at school...Parents are welcome to come along and participate.
March 15 - ROUND THE VINES...All Room 8 pupils are asked to be available on this day. Already this year our class have benefited from RTV/FOMS contributions to our air conditioner and amazing Art Workshop that we had last week. Without our Round the Vines event, we would not be able to have these things. All Parents should be helping out as well...because what RTV/FOMS pay for, parents don't have to.
